LCR aims to offer commercially competitive recycling options with an emphasis on environmentally sound management including assistance with notification procedures where necessary, including a range of spent catalyst disposal services. We are partnered with fully licenced recycling facilities in Europe and the Far East.
The spent catalysts are recycled and used to produce high-quality metal salts for final applications including new catalyst manufacture, pigments and CO2 removal processes.
LCR also handles many types and forms of other non-ferrous secondaries including, fines, slags, residues, sludges, ashes etc. containing: Co, Cu, Mo, Ni, V, W, Zn.
LCR’s services include advice on packaging and current environmental legislation, transportation according to the latest regulations, the arrangement of weighing and sampling, recycling at fully approved facilities and issuance of Certificates of Recycling/Consumption where required.
The absence of comprehensive recycling facilities capable of handling all types and forms of spent catalyst and other secondary raw materials makes it difficult for the generator to find the appropriate recycling outlet. In addition, environmental legislation and transport regulations can be complicated and often vary from country to country. It is a minefield for the uninitiated.

- Transport Regulations – Our staff are fully conversant with the latest transport regulations and regularly attend courses and updates covering the transport of dangerous goods by land (ADR), sea (IMDG) and air (IATA) as well as 49CFR for movements within the USA.
- Applicable Environmental Regulations – We have years of experience in the transboundary movement of hazardous waste, non-hazardous waste, hazardous and non-hazardous metals and concentrates.
A network of agents and associates around the globe together with long term relationships with fully licenced, ISO9001 and ISO14001 certified recycling facilities, enable us to provide the most suitable, commercially competitive options for each generator.
Site visits / environmental audits are available where required.
